yeah, a lot of the early game quest items have good bonuses that people only wish existed on max weapons.

i think thats a staff you get from a quest, i.e.-unsalvagable,unfortunatly. in fact, i think i just sold it, or one much like it. rangers dont really need air staffs.

If you did manage to get a sundering mod from a staff, I very much doubt it would sell for 500k. That is way too low. I remember seeing someone in these forums offering something like 8-10 million plat for a crystaline. I'd say around that price.

lol, how do you even get 8 mil?
you need several accounts, and the seller needs a lot of accounts too...

Not really... You have to remember that Ectoplasm is usually "worth" 10k as far as trading goes, and you can have 250 of them before taking up a slot. 250 ectoplasm is worth 2,500,000 gold. 7 slots at 2,500,000 comes out to 17,500,000 in one trading menu, plus 100k in cash. So you're looking at approximately 17,600,000 gold as your highest trade offer.

I fail to see the fact how people can store cash like that, let it be rampent in the economy, not someone's wallet.

You people keep on forgetting about the Trader Reset though. Damn was i pissed when i missed that... a friend of mine went from 100 Plat from a bit of farming up to his whole storage filled with Ectoplasms and he even stored some ectos on a PVP Char, just because there wasn't enough space left.
How this is possible? Well... A.Net once resetted the traders. They had plenty of goods in story, yet their prices were down at the bottom. You could get a superior absorption for maybe 500 gold. Ecto was going for 100 gold.
It was only a short time... but the fast ones got really... really... REALLY rich.

Do a board search, some folks even gave away packs of 250 ecto for free to folks who were acting nice. -.-
